By placing an order with us you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any aspect of these, then you should contact us before placing an order. These Terms and Conditions and your use of our web site are governed by English law and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English court.

1. Ordering
Please note all products on this web site are are made to order, therefore we do not accept general returns, from placing your order you are liable for the full order value. As such it is essential to measure all rooms and access doors as you will be liable for the full order value if delivery fails because of difficulty of access.

2. Delivery
Please advise us no later than 72 hours before an arranged delivery time if you are unable to accept delivery for a pre-arranged date, should someone not be at your delivery address when our courier arrives your goods shall be returned to their warehouse with a failed delivery fee of £35 applied to your order. Please note, if you refuse to accept a delivery or ask our courier to store your goods then you may become subject to their storage charges. All breakages and shortages must be reported to the within 48 hours of delivery.

3. Guarantee
In the unlikely event that your goods prove defective please contact us. An inspection of the product will be arranged at your convenience to determine if there is a genuine fault and to advance appropriate action. Should a recognised manufacturing or materials fault occur within 12 months from the date of purchase we will repair or replace the product completely free of charge. After the first 12 months but within the 5 year warranty period Longbeds will have the right and the discretion to arrange repair or replace the product, charging you for one fifth of the current retail price multiplied by the total number of years you have owned the bed.

Longbeds reserve the right to refuse this offer if defect is caused by misuse or where product has become soiled, unsanitary, has excessive wear and tear, or where the mattress has been used on a unsuitable base or foundation. Body impression is considered normal on new luxury mattresses and does not constitute a manufacturing fault. Where a divan base only or a mattress only is replaced we will endeavour to match the fabric but reserve the right to substitute alternative material.

Should you return any goods bought from us we require prior notification before items are returned. Returns should be made within a reasonable time (usually 14 days from receipt of the goods) and they are required to be sent well packaged un-used, and in original, undamaged wraping. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resaleable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or make a deduction on the refund value.

4. Prices
All prices are in GB Pounds Sterling inclusive of VAT. Prices and availability of goods is subject to change without notice.

5. Products
All products are made by hand therefore slight variations in quoted measurements are possible.
We reserve the right to subsitute materials and alter specifications without prior notice as our manufacturers may alter specifications as products are developed and improved. If you have any specific requirements that need to be met exactly we recomend checking current specification prior to ordering and we shall endeavour to inform of any such amendment or change.

6. Security and Privacy
We will treat all your Personal Information as confidential. We will store it on a secure server and we will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation.

We confirm that any Personal Information which you provide to us (or which is available on public registers) and any User Information from which we can identify you, is held in accordance with the registration we have with the Data Commissioner's Office. We use your information only for the following purposes:
