The Colonial mattress is 10" deep and comprises layers of deluxe insulator padding and extra thick hypo allergenic thermal bond filling. Traditionally tufted in a resilient damask with brass ventilators fitted to enable the mattress to breath and air. Individual fabric pockets allow the springs to work independently, providing added support and reduced 'roll-together'. There are over 1200 pocketed springs in a standard King size mattress.

As standard a 3'0", 4'0", and 4'6" wide base will come in one piece where the lid lifts from one side.
5'0" and wider bases will come in two sections split along the length of the bed (North to South) and will lift from the foot end.
