Details
The Plank bed frame is available in two versions, the Flush version photographed above is a great space saver as it takes up only a couple more inches of space than the mattress. The Inframe bed is slightly longer and wider to allow the mattress to sit within the side rails and footend, plus the side rails are slightly set in from the edges of the headboard.
Handmade in the UK this beautifully finished, sturdy bed frame is built from Scandinavian Pine which can be stained in a variety of colours or given a painted finish. The beds arrive in four basic elements for home assembly including headboard, footboard, side rails, and solid pine slats. Larger beds come a central leg to the floor.

Wax or Lacquer Finish?
A lacquer finish intensifies the colour of the stain for a contemporary look and gives a durable long lasting low sheen finish. While a Wax finish gives a softer more traditional natural look however over time the bed will benefit from occasional polishing with a natural Beeswax to maintain lustre.
